I was excited to take my great niece to a place I would eat at all the time years ago. I had to talk her into it while we drove around town looking for a place to eat. I should have listened to her!! The best part first- our waitress, Kimber, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond and was amazing! The potato soup was good and so was the garlic toast. My niece ordered the chicken Alfredo and said it was good and gave it 8/10. I ordered chicken spaghetti, recommended by Kimber. The moment she sat it down in front of me it looked delicious but smelled spoiled or rancid. I tried to stir it, smell it, and repeat thinking it was just an ingredient. I finally got the nerve up to taste it and had to spit it out, but I swallowed some. I’m kicking myself for not trusting my nose. I’m nauseated and hoping I don’t get food poisoning. When Kimber came back to check on me a 2nd time to see if I liked it, I asked her to come close to not let other patrons hear, and Kimber could smell it. She apologized and offered to bring me something else, but I was no longer hungry. She was amazing and took it the chef and notified the manager. First time in from out of town, I loved the food. I had the Zucchini and Sangria and a few other things. Alicia took good care of us and she was so knowledgeable and fun. We also really liked how well paced the food was from her. Would absolutely come again!

On this particular trip we had some issues with Orlando's. We ate at the one on avenue Q and it was around 1:00 in the afternoon. One of the members of our group had lasagna that was not hot. Bread was not served to our table with our salads. It was not served with our meal either, and so we had to ask for it. Hot. Had Dijon chicken that also came out that was not hot. I don't know if they cooked their food ahead of time for the 12:00 rush or what, but food just was not ready, prepared and hot. When you are paying $17 a plate (or more) portion sizes should be generous. Bread should be brought promptly and should not have to be requested. Food should be piping hot and the experience should be wonderful. To say the least, I feel like this particular visit was disappointing. We have lived in the Lubbock area for years and Orlando's has been one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Today was disappointing.

Classic Italian stop. Lasagna and Meatball Sandwich were delicious. The Wisconsin Cheddar cheese soup was tasty and rich In flavor. Great place to have a get together! The time B4 we had pizza 🍕 which went over well with everyone.

It's been a months since my last visit, and it's still a great place to eat. The toasted ravioli and the supreme pizza with Pineapple hit the spot. Service was friendly and fast. Nice and chill ambiance at this location, dim lighting and seating arrangement. Pleasant, very nice. We had the supreme pizza with Pineapple and it was delicious. The 14 hands cabernet was a perfect match with the meaty toppings. Tristan was a joy to have as our waiter, attentive and polite.
